US-Analytics, a leader in EPM consulting and services, acquired Atlanta-based BI firm Rittman Mead America (RMA) for an undisclosed amount this week to better serve the needs of customers nationwide. Both companies bring decades of experience in the development and support of business analytics systems. Their leaders share a singular mission: help organizations harness the power of their data.
“The opportunity to add RMA's capabilities and reach just made sense,” said Scott Preszler, CEO and president of US-Analytics. “EPM and BI systems are synergistic — together, they deepen our customers’ insight into their business performance. And RMA has the best reputation in the BI space. They are the ninjas of BI.”
US-Analytics plans to continue offering the business intelligence training, products, and services that made RMA a trusted name.
“Our consultants are excited to join a team that values quality as much as we do,” said Charles Elliott, managing director at RMA. “Customers will enjoy superior service and gain access to a broader set of offerings.”
Preszler and Elliott agreed that a key driver of the acquisition was a shared vision for the products and services developed by RMA. Also described as “accelerators,” the products are designed to maximize BI systems' efficiency, performance, and insight.
RMA will remain based in Atlanta and operate under the US-Analytics name.
“To expand regionally, we had already planned to open an office in the southeast to support the demand we see in the EPM space,” said Preszler. “Atlanta was always the preferred destination, and now it's a reality.”
Prior to the acquisition, RMA was wholly owned by Rittman Mead Consulting, Ltd., based in Brighton, UK.
