The countdown is on for this year’s Splash User Conference and Partner Summit. Last year, there were so many great sessions that we compiled an eBook from the best ones. This year, we’re heading to Chicago with the promise of even more great sessions, including a session from one of our own senior consultants.
In this blog post, we’ll cover some of the Splash sessions you won’t want to miss, as well as an event we’re hosting to kick off this year’s unified CPM conference.
Brews & Blues
When in Chicago, you drink prohibition-style cocktails and listen to local musicians play blues and jazz — fedora optional. At least that was our thinking when we set out to plan a party to kick off Splash.
On the first night of Splash (Tuesday, May 15), we’ll be sipping our drinks at the historic Coq d’Or bar inside the Drake. Join us at our “Brews & Blues” event for cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and Chicago blues at 8 p.m., immediately after the Splash Welcome Reception.
Don’t forget to RSVP!
Breakout Sessions & Ask Me Anything
This year, there are 50 breakout sessions and 13 “Ask Me Anything” visits in just two days. Unless you have a time machine, there’s no way you’ll get to make it to everything, so we’ve given the schedule a gander and have listed our recommendations below — plus a link to the schedule. But first, we’ll summarize the session you can’t miss, presented by our own Terry Ledet.

Session Summary
The title is a bit of a mouthful, but that’s only because the story is so good. American Midstream Partners, a natural gas transmission company, was facing growth and changes — from acquisitions and divestitures to IT modernization. With an Excel-driven manual process, they were facing time-consuming internal reporting and other issues related to the manual process.
The company chose OneStream for Planning (Operations, Corporate, and People), Account Reconciliations, Management and Financial Reporting. Without giving away too much of the story, you’ll find that this project truly proves that OneStream simplifies consolidation, planning, and reporting on one platform.
