Next week, Oracle will update Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS). In this blog post, we’ll outline changes, updates, and considerations for April.

We’ll let you know any time there are updates to ARCS or any other Oracle EPM cloud products. Check the US-Analytics Oracle EPM & BI Blog every month.

The monthly update for Oracle ARCS will occur on Friday, April 21 during your normal daily maintenance window.

New Transaction Matching Module Available

Transaction Matching is the latest addition to ARCS. With Transaction Matching, companies can automate preparation of high volume/labor intensive reconciliations and seamlessly integrate those results into the tracking features within Reconciliation Compliance. This new module will save companies additional time on performance of reconciliations, while improving quality and reducing risk.

Once an Administrator performs the necessary steps to create the reconciliations, users will be able to load data, run the auto match process, confirm suggested matches, create manual matches, and run balancing reports.

Translation of User Assistance is Now Available

The online Help and guides are now translated into French, German, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. You can see translated guides from the Translated Books tab at Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Help Center.

The translated documentation covers all features up to January 30, 2017.

Configuring Single Sign-on with NetSuite

You can configure single sign-on (SSO) access between Oracle EPM Cloud and NetSuite. Configuring SSO requires you to configure SAML 2.0 between Oracle Cloud and NetSuite.

Changing Maintenance Time to Accommodate Daylight Savings Time

In time zones that change based on daylight saving time, the daily maintenance time now accommodates the time change so that the maintenance process starts correctly at the time you set. However, to activate this fix, you must set the service maintenance time again even if you want to use the current maintenance start time.

Considerations

  • When using EPM Automate, log out and log in again after importing a Financial Close Management (FCM) snapshot to refresh the icons on the Home page.
  • You may receive inaccurate messages from Navigator if pop-up blockers are enabled. Disable pop-up blockers in your browser to avoid this.
  • In the Academy, some pages and icons may appear different in the video and the Cloud service.
