This year, US-Analytics wants you to get “nosey” with us about ending child poverty on Red Nose Day, Thursday, May 23. US-Analytics employees have made donations and donned red noses to help raise money for programs that keep children safely housed, fed, and educated.
Starting four years ago in the U.S., Red Nose Day focuses on making it fun for folks to come together to raise money and make a difference. The fundraiser is organized by the charity, Comic Relief USA, an organization with the mission of using entertainment to support people living in poverty across the nation and the globe.
This is the first year US-Analytics has participated in Red Nose Day, an effort spear-headed by the organization’s HR Manger.
“This charity has made such a large impact, it didn’t make sense not to get involved,” said Tiffany Tucker, Manager of Human Resources & Professional Development.
“The response from employees has been incredible through donations and outreach expressing how their enjoying our involvement with this cause,” she said.
This year, Red Nose Day introduced the “Everyday Heroes,” five noses (including the original plain, red nose) that represent the “superpowers” that help children struggling with poverty, hunger, education, health care, and shelter. Four of these noses have faces (and names) that you’re sure to see on Red Nose Day. You can pick up your red nose at any Walgreens.
