The April updates for Oracle's Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) are here. In this blog post, we’ll outline new features in ARCS, including additional charts in activity report, outputting reports in .XLSX as well as considerations and removal of support.
We’ll let you know any time there are updates to ARCS or any other Oracle EPM cloud products. Check the US-Analytics Oracle EPM & BI Blog every month.
The monthly update for Oracle ARCS will occur on Friday, April 20 during your normal daily maintenance window.
ARCS New Features
Migrating from ARM to ARCS
You can migrate from Oracle Hyperion Financial Close Management’s (FCM) Account Reconciliation Manager (ARM) module to ARCS. The FCM release must be at 11.1.2.4.250 or later to perform this migration. See the “Administering Oracle Accounting Reconciliation Cloud” guide for detailed instructions.
Ability to Output Reports in .XLSX Format
For both Reconciliation Compliance and Transaction Matching, you can now output reports in .XLSX (Excel) format as well as .XLS, HTML, and PDF formats.
Additional Charts in Activity Report
The Activity Report has been enhanced to include the following charts that help you understand the processing load in your environment:
- Number of user interface requests by hour
- Duration of user interface requests by hour
- CPU usage
- Memory usage
Removal of Support
Enhanced User Experience in Reconciliation Compliance
As of early calendar year, 2018, the old method of accessing the Reconciliation List, Transactions List, and Profiles List will no longer be available. Enhancements to the Reconciliation Compliance user interface that were introduced several months ago provided a more intuitive and improved user experience, including Reconciliation, Transaction and Profile List Views, Manage Reports, and common use of a filter bar across multiple EPM Cloud services. These changes provide you with quick, easy navigation.
